CANDLE CARE
(it’s super important!)
• Burn the candle for at least 3 hours on the first burn and allow the wax to melt to the edge of the container.
• Trim the candle wick to 5mm before every burn.
• Always keep the candle out of reach from children and pets.
• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Always burn candles well away from drafts, other heat sources and anything flammable.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• When you have 5mm of wax left, it’s time to say goodbye to your candle. This will prevent possible heat damage to the surface the candle sits on or the container.
BUT WHY IS CANDLE CARE SO IMPORTANT?
- Ensures a clean and even burn - prevents tunnelling and wax build up
- Reduces soot and smoke - wicks that are too long can cause flames to become too large and hot.
- Extendeds your candles lifespan - prevents the wax being burnt up too quickly
- Maintains optimal scent release
- Saftey - a larger flame caused by a long wick can be a fire hazard
